Περιγραφή
Blackwell Companions to Philosophy. This reference series, centred on analytic philosophy but also covering important aspects of the continental tradition and of nonWestern philosophies, is made up of a number of volumes each dealing with a particular subject area. Taken together, the series offers a comprehensive survey of philosophy as a whole. The entries in each volume combine summarized information on names, terms and movements with critical personal essays contributed by leading figures in the area concerned; each essay is also supported by a selective bibliography. A Companion to Epistemology The 250 alphabetically-arranged entries in the Companion include contributions from many of the world's most distinguished epistemologists. Extensively cross-referenced, and ranging from concise summaries of technical terms to extended essays on major topics, the articles combine to form a complete reference guide for student and professional alike.
