world.’ observez
Eugene O'Neill was born in New York City in 1888 and died in Boston in 1953. He studied at Princeton and Harvard; in 1926 he received an honorary degree from Yale. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1920, 1922, 1928 and 1957 – the first ever granted posthumously– and the Nobel
Prize for Literature in 1936. This volume of his plays contains All God’s Chillun Got Wings, Desire Under the Elms and Welded.
